Jim Gerardot is the Executive Director of Global Marketing, Global Animal Nutrition Solutions for Novus International, Inc. He joined Novus in 2011 and has led development of the company’s new Triple-S brand architecture. Jim is organizing global marketing into a new center of excellence team focused on applied customer solutions, core brand development, and customer insights with a strong interaction with the sales team.

Prior to joining Novus, Jim was most recently the Head of Global Marketing for Bayer Healthcare’s Food Animal Products division in Monheim, Germany where he led the development and launch of a new global business strategy focused on Transforming Livestock Production. 

During his more than 20 year career in the livestock industry, Jim has been a senior leader in top tier animal health companies like Pfizer, Merck/Merial and Hoechst-Roussel Agvet and has held a number of management positions in marketing and sales operations in North America, Europe and Latin America. He received the William E. Upjohn Award for innovation and has been recognized for core marketing programs developed to support the launches of leading brands like Safe-Guard, Ivomec Gold, Eprinex and Improvac to name a few.

Jim held the position as VP of marketing & operations for an agricultural start-up, DirectAg, (now AgStar) where he created unique partnerships to help minimize the company’s cash flow. He has also had experience in global marketing consulting as the principle of his own company JAG-2 consulting, LLC.

An Indiana native, past state FFA officer and swine producer, Jim graduated from Purdue University with a bachelor of science in Animal Science & Ag Economics. He has built on his strong agricultural roots, serving in the worldwide agribusiness field.
